I've been meditating on this for days. I keep a faith journal that is pretty simple. It includes an ongoing list of prayer requests (some have been with me since I was 5 years old). Each month, I have praise reports. Nothing fancy, just daily answers to prayer or things the Lord has done to show His watchcare and presence in my life. Some are big, some are less obvious, but all are important. I also include special verses or insights from my daily quiet time as the Spirit leads. I may have 3 a week or 3 a month. These faith journals are a goldmine! They are basically a record of conversations between the Lord and I. His promises, my confidence. My requests, His answers. My trials, His presence and deliverance. I have maybe 5 of them going back 10 years and I review them often. When Satan would steal my joy or fear/anxiety intrude on my peace, these journals remind me of God's faithfulness, love, and promise of a brilliant future. "Did God really say...?" Yes He did and He keeps His word every single time!
