I didn't know I was a post-doomer, but I think it's part of the decolonial work. And thank you, I found $200 in unclaimed property, some for my kid, parents, as well as several thousand for my ex father-in-law's estate (for my kids).
It is the logical conclusion to ask what happens when, and it is part of the necessary steps that we must do, in terms of mitigating damage. It is probably too late to avoid more challenges in the interim, regardless of current and future solutions.
That being said, I think there is encouraging news on the horizon. I work with engineers who have many solutions, and I am hopeful that so many of us who work selflessly for less, can achieve the majority of changes.
My current partner (who helped patent the Ultrasound and Surge Suppressor), has a newer version of Wind/Water Turbines that are not only more efficient, but don't harm eagles, dolphins or whales either.
I meet the others, when I present at conferences. Some of us will get rewarded somewhere down the line, for neglecting our day jobs. There is always an opportunity cost. The rest of us, will take pride that we helped move the awareness, and the science of Climate Change forward.
“I aim to be really alive in these days. To think critically, understand deeply, and find community and enjoyment in the goodness of our Earth and what it provides.”
This is incredibly important! It’s easy to get caught up in the bad stuff that’s going on around us, but if we can be present in each moment, we can find the joy and peace we need to get through the hard stuff.

Oh wow. I'm glad!

Thank you!
So much to process and try to absorb. Thank you.
It is a lot. I agree.
